I have a part time 4wd kit in my 80 series, and last weekend I had my front locker out of my old ute fitted Very Happy .
Any way while we had the diff apart we found a flat spot in the diff gearing from the parttime kit which allowes the diff to sit in one spot for a long time whilst the vehicle was driven in 2wd only.
The flat spot is not to bad in my diff but for those of us with these kits it might be worth putting them in 4wd more often Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes
