Name: Col and Rose
Bit about me: Self employed, working from home. I'm a surfer, Rose isn't. She likes other stuff and the 4by is the one thing that we both like doing.
Vehicle: 98 Prado
Good points: It's done 375k so far and still going strong.
Bad points: Can't think of any at the moment.
Modifications: Just had a 50mm lift, but other than that nothing.
Mods on list: Bigger wheels to get the diffs off the ground
Why did I buy this vehicle: Mainly because of the side opening back door, for work purposes.
What will my next 4wd be: Probably a deisel Toyota something. I haven't thought that far ahead yet.
Memorable Trips: Mainly the good trips with the club discovering just how capable a stock Prado can be, as well as finding the limits.
Been too busy this last year to fit in any trips though, but hoping to change that shortly.

Nice rig Col & Rose , i had a 97 prado for a while & loved it . Found it quite good off road even with the IFS . Your 98 mod has done a few more K's than my old 90 mod . It's gotta be a toyota thing , Cheers Andrew

Up to 400Ks now. Had a 2 inch lift fitted a few months back and might be getting some bigger wheels for it soon.
Other than that it is just as we bought it.Well apart form the lantana scratches and a few bent undercar protector panels.
Put our first ding in it on the last trip. Don't know what I hit, but it pushed the plastic bumper bar in quite a bit.
But Kev reached in behind it and pushed it right back out again. Looks good as gold.

I am loving my new tyres.
Had some Goodyear Wrangler MTRs (max terrains) 32s fitted and so far they have been awsome.
Looking forward to Sunday at Ammamor
