We all met up at the Glenview bp service station.
In attendance were Michael, Seb, Shae and Shae’s boy friend Calvin. Jim, Tom & Jay, Heath, Vicki and girls, Scott, Brad and his son. Paul and Catherine. Big Rod and Paula and Ryan.
We cruised up the bruce highway and met up with Rob at the Imbil turn off and he jumped in the convoy. We have arrived at our first track and it’s time to let the tyres down then a briefing from our trip leader Heath. So off we go and after a couple of turnarounds as Heath looked for the right track, we were all good until not too far ahead we had a tree on the track and Heath was out with the chain saw and a few of us moved the logs so we all could all get through. We came to few good hill climbs and Catherine was a bit worried but nothing was going to stop her well done Catherine you did well all day... We did some more tracks and at lunch we stopped below a very rutted and steep hill called Bull Dozer. Ryan went half way up and couldn't go any further. Heath was up next and gets points for trying also Scott had a go, then Big Rods turn and he made it up as far as Ryan. You guessed it was Jims turn next an as normal big right foot and got further than Heath. So with lunch over we were on the tracks again to another small hill up we all go and Jim being tail end was up last with everyone watching, 1st go 2nd go so after about 5 attempts he made with front wheels a couple feet off the ground well done Jim Of we all go again and as it was getting late in the arvo we all stopped while Heath checked out a track and your not going to believe it he came back with a broken front diff, so that was it for our trip leader. We fixed it up so he could drive home and we headed into Imbil pumped up tyres and a bit of a chat and then we all left for the trip home. A great day was had by all and a big thank you to Heath for a great job.
